Veterans United is seeking an Agent Sales Associate to join the Agent Relations team, aka the Platinum Desk. The Agent Sales Associate will be responsible for initiating new real estate agent relationships with Veterans United, establishing active referring agents for the Platinum Desk Advocates and Loan Officers, and expanding the company's brand and mission across the real estate industry, including agents, builders, and affiliated entities.
The Agent Sales Associate will reach out to real estate agents across a multi-state region via e-mail and phone, educate and engage agents to military home-buying specialization, and soliciting referral business. This position will be focused on new business lead generation in a fast-paced, competitive, sales-oriented environment. This position will not be originating loans.
Establishing new agent relationships by:
Conducting outbound sales calls to real estate agents in assigned region & generate new referrals.
Identifying and implementing opportunities for new agent relationships.
Familiarizing agents with the VA Loan and company services.
Utilizing social media and marketing promotion to reach new agents and lead referral sources.
Providing new agent training and information to realtors, virtually and/or onsite.
Attending industry trade shows and events to expand reach of new agents.
Coordinating with internal teams to ensure development of new agents, service support, and lead results.
Maintaining information and reporting by entering agent data into CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
Necessary Skills : Self-motivated, competitive, drive, excellent communication skills,
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years' experience in a related field; previous field sales experience is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of the real estate and mortgage loan industry preferred
Cold-calling and cold-e-mailing experience preferred
Lead generation or client research experience preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
