JOB DUTIESSupervise financial and administrative operations and reporting systems with some responsibility for policy.
Establish controls to maintain budget limitations and other financial matters on a large budget with multiple funding sources.
Prepare complex independent analytical studies and projects.
Advise management regarding finances, reports, and other business activities.
Develop, recommend, implement, and monitor accounting systems for income-producing operations and develop billing and collection procedures for income-producing units.
Manage the capital procurement process including budgeting, sourcing, purchasing, and implementation for all surgical facilities.
Coordinate the oversight and monitoring of all Surgical Services quality improvement projects and special projects related to OR Surgical Services process improvement, growth, and business development.
Manage the department operations of the surgical supply chain with an emphasis on ensuring expired product is removed.
In conjunction with Contracts Administration, review all pricing and service agreement contracts with a focus on identifying and implementing cost saving initiatives.
Notify management of changes that will impact financial performance or operations.
Lead Value Analysis initiatives to reduce overall supply expenses with consideration to patient outcomes, revenue implications, and overall product satisfaction.
May complete unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.
Three (3) years of experience in health care, financial analysis, or a related area.
Experience in administering a significant budget and operating unit.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in surgery administration is strongly preferred.
Master's degree in healthcare administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.
Supervisory experience.
Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
